John’s IT career began in IT Operations in 1976 working for the Northamptionshire Computer Burea owned by the Weetabix Group. Thereafter John moved into application development, utilising Mainframes and later networked PC systems. After 17 years at Thomas Cook and progressing to Head of IT Architecture & Development an opportunity to found Totembird arrived as Thomas Cook choose to outsource its IT teams, offshore.
The aim of Totembird is to provide high quality affordable IT solutions utilising the extensive experience of the Totembird team.
This experience results in solutions that are fleixible, scalable and fit for purpose. More experience means less mistakes. Just as important to us is to be helpful and simple to work with. We try to avoid IT jargon and to be straightforward and open. We offer free consultations as the first step towards a mutually beneficial relationship.
